Update: Gino is now about 5 months old and still waiting for his forever home. He still looks mostly dachshund, maybe with a little something else like beagle thrown in. He is soo super sweet and is now crate trained. He has some excitement urination problems that most puppies have, but he's working on it! Several weeks ago Scarlett and her babies were tossed away like garbage. The puppies, eyes still closed, were locked in a pet-taxi that was left at an abandoned house. Scarlett was frantically trying to get to them when a wonderful gentleman found her. His wonderful wife called us and we went out to pick them up. We weren't prepared for what we saw. Scarlett had zero hair due to lack of nutrition. Her skin was peeling from sunburn. The puppies were very dehydrated and we were sure they weren't going to make it. Gino is one of those puppies. He is a piebald male, who is about 10 weeks old. He is very sweet and is a puppy through and through. Of course, he is not housebroken as he is a puppy. He is very out-going and loves to be held. He is an expert kisser LOL. He is a typical puppy and behavior such as chewing is to be expected. He is current on his puppy vaccinations and will be neutered before going to his new home.
