Sugar was rescued from Animal Control just a few hours before she was going

to be euthanized. She was given up by her former owner due to losing her home

and living on the streets. Her former owner loved her very much and hoped

that someone would adopt her. Sugar was moved from the adoption list to

the euthanization list because she wagged her tail so much in the shelter that

she broke open the end and it was bleeding. She is a very happy girl with a tail

that is always wagging. She loves to run and play with her friends at her foster

home. Sugar is as sweet as her name. Sugar is a little thin but is gaining her

weight back fast. She is full of life and loves to play with balls and other toys.

She brings them  back and drops them for you to throw again. She is well

mannered and minds very well. She is housebroken and crate trained and

walks on a leash very well. She is very polite and does not beg or demand.

She does not like cats or big dogs, but likes little dogs. She is not food

aggressive and will share with others. She likes children to pet and

talk to her.  She is vaccinated, spayed and will have her heartworm treatment the

first of October.  Sugar needs a fenced in yard - 4 ft high at minimum as she

loves to jump and chase squirrels and birds.

 

Sugar wants so much to have her own home with someone to love her and

to play with her.  Sugar asks if you will adopt her and love her as she will love

you.
