Do you delight in the antics of a toddler?  Is your house often the
gathering spot for the neighborhood kids and do you love nothing more than
to have a house filled with children?  If your answer is not only NO, but
heck NO! We've got the dog for you.  Meet Rocko! After an uphill struggle
with parvo, Rocko was adopted by a childless couple with 2 other dachshunds.
Three blissful years pass, with Rocko being the light of his momma's life.
Then comes the baby, and Rocko did not appreciate the intrusion.  The
toddler toddled, and Rocko snapped and lost his forever home.  Rocko can be
snappy when startled or scared.  If you reach for him without proper
permission from him, you may pay the price.  Other than that, he's the
snuggliest, sweetest little guy his foster mom has met.  He takes treats
politely, LOVES longhaired dogs and will sleep under the covers with you if
you let him.  If you know how to respect a fearful dog, and love him in
spite of his fears, Rocko will return the love tenfold if you just give him
a chance....and keep those kids away from him.
